I am currently on day 5 of the AdvoCare Cleanse. Halfway through!
I wanted to share why I am doing it. I am not on a weight loss journey and that is often what it is marketed for. The cleanse can be used for many goals though and I thought it was time for a little tune up.
The issues: I have been slow to recover. My diet has been on a little bit of a downhill slide. I haven’t done one in a long time.
What I expect: To get more energy. To get a fresh start on my diet. To prep my body for better nutrient absorption for better recovery.
I have heard the AdvoCare Cleanse as described like cleaning out the lint trap of a dryer. Our bodies do this on their own, but sometimes it needs some extra help. Plus it is a great motivator for diet cleanup to get me back on track. Mostly, I am trying to recover better from long or intense workouts.
When is a good time for a cleanse? This answer can be different depending on your goals. This cleanse is gentle and shouldn’t interrupt anything in your life. For someone looking for weight loss, anytime is a good time. Don’t wait to make changes for a healthier version of you! If you are an athlete, I love the idea of doing a cleanse at the start of a new training cycle. Get off to a fresh start and prepare your body for the work you are about to put it through.
As for me, I am getting ready for some new training. I have a half-marathon coming up that I would like to do well at, then a 20 mile trail run that I want to train well for. I really want to focus on recovering well, so I am going to begin some new supplement and diet habits. Since I am planning on making some changes it was a good time to do the cleanse.
How is it going? Great! Day 3 was rough. Not sure if it was the cleanse or I just ate something bad. Now I have a ton of energy and have really re-introduced meal planning and some healthy eating habits that I have let slide for a while.
Is it right for you? I think so. I really like this. It isn’t crazy. It is a macro-balanced and nutrient dense diet plan combined with fiber, probiotics, and some cleansing tablets that will prep your body to do a better job absorbing nutrients.
Why do I suggest this? I have tried other things and I always come back to AdvoCare. The company is athlete focused and cares a lot about quality and effectiveness. Plus, they are equipped for a whole program.
Do you have to have products? No, you can make changes in other ways or do other types of whole food cleanses. But, this is how I choose to reset and these are the products I recommend.
If you are interested, I have signed up to partner with AdvoCare as an independent distributor. You can learn more here, or feel free to contact me as well for more information.
